HYDE PARK – For the Catholic Church, holy water is an important part of their church worship services, especially during Easter. There is a font of holy water at the front of the oratory, or place of worship, set aside for ordinary parishioners as a place of divine worship.

A few Sundays ago, April 21, was “Good Shepherd Sunday,” the day in the Easter Season focused on images of Christ as our shepherd.

“If there is someone out there that needs a hand, I need to get up and be at the right spot at the right time if they need me,” said Jacobs.
