VALLEY — Two construction workers died on Route 30 after being struck by a tractor-trailer during a four-vehicle crash eastbound on Route 30 just before 6:50 p.m. Monday.

Preliminary investigation determined that a tractor-trailer caused a multi-vehicle crash in which two construction workers were struck, according to police. Both construction workers were pronounced deceased at the scene.
