FEB. 8, 2024 - Trails Carolina Camp, a nature-based residential therapeutic program for adolescents in Lake Toxaway, which has been cited by state regulators in the past, wrote in a statement on Thursday, Feb. 8, that it rejects claims from the Transylvania County Sheriff's Office that the camp is not fully cooperating in the death investigation of a 12-year-old camper.
