The Washington City Council will be meeting on Tuesday, and on the agenda is the second reading of the ordinance to set the 2027 water and sewer rates. The items include a five-percent usage rate increase on both water and sewer, and a three-percent increase to all service levels for solid waste. Following the public hearing on June 2nd, the second reading of the ordinance will be held.
There are two summer workouts planned, the first is on June 13th at 9 a.m., and the second will be held July 11th at 9 a.m. at the Washington County Fairgrounds main show ring, to help both 4-Hers and calves prepare for the fair.
