Iowa Attorney General Brenna Bird filed a lawsuit against a Chinese company that's essentially that country's version of Amazon. The lawsuit against Temu claims the online marketplace service is breaking Iowa's Consumer Fraud Act. It accuses Temu of making bogus claims about the quality of its products, misleading prices, deceiving customers by taking their data and putting it at risk of winding up in possession of the communist Chinese government. Stealing intellectual property and violating privacy rights are also among the allegations.

Something with significant implications came from the president during the recent NATO summit in Turkey. It's fallen a bit off the radar. President Trump indicated he's open to selling Turkey some of the United States-made F-35 fighter jets. These are very sophisticated stealth fighters, very difficult to detect with radar. Here's the problem: Turkey bought the S-400 missile system from Russia.
