High pressure dominates again this week, bringing warm sunshine but still a cool wind off the North Sea at times. Showers spreading south on Monday for parts of Britain but otherwise a lot of dry weather.

Friday could see 26C but that won't last. High pressure slides away this week, bringing a change for the Bank Holiday weekend. Before that, more fine, sunny weather with a few showers in the west. Cloudy and cooler for the weekend
