PALMERSTON – There were plenty of ball games on May 4 to mark the 30th anniversary of the Palmerston Marlins Ladies Softball Association. The first game was between the U11 Marlins and the Saugeen Shores Sting.
FERGUS – Some 54 teams from nine Ontario Royal Canadian Legion districts came to Fergus on May 4 for the provincial euchre tournament. The Fergus Legion hosted the event this year because they won last year.
