POOLER, Ga. (WTOC) - The Georgia Power outage map showed nearly 3,000 customers were affected in Pooler after Monday evening's storms.

This follows Saturday night's shooting on Coligny Beach where seven people were injured during the 4th of July festivities. All are expected to recover, according to the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office.

According to the Georgia Ports Authority, the four-lane highway will give truck drivers faster access to the Port of Savannah and a more streamlined route to inland markets.

The enforcement campaign also led to more than 1,440 DUI arrests, 2,234 reckless driving citations and warnings and more than 3,000 citations and warnings were issued for violating distracted driving laws.

PORT WENTWORTH, Ga. (WTOC) - The Port Wentworth Police Department reported online that they need help finding a missing 11-year-old.

Officers are focused on speeding, aggressive driving, impaired and distracted driving, and seat belt violations.
