Severe storms likely starting by early evening with all hazards possible, including damaging winds, large hail, and strong tornadoes.

Three tornadoes touched down during Wednesday’s severe weather outbreak, according to the National Weather Service.

These storms bring multiple hazards through the evening hours, including strong winds, tornadoes, heavy rain with potential flooding, and isolated hail.

On Sunday, a powerful multi-state severe weather system swept through the Midwest producing tornadoes in Sullivan and Martin counties.

The Capital Improvement Board met Wednesday after the June 30 deadline for hotelier submissions.
