For the second time in two days, a professional sports franchise in Dallas has announced plans to leave the city’s urban core.

The US Department of Agriculture is racing to contain the deadly New World screwworm after a case was detected in Texas, where a broader outbreak could threaten an already-small domestic cattle herd.

New World screwworm has been creeping up on the US for years, and now it’s here.
