The Giants.com crew members give their biggest takeaways from the first week of training camp in West Virginia.

The Giants held their first padded practice of training camp on Monday. The session lasted 1 hour and 45 minutes. Practice began under cloudy skies before it started to rain steadily. The storm passed before the end of practice with the final two-minute periods taking place under sunny skies.

The Giants held their second consecutive padded practice at The Greenbrier on Tuesday. This one lasted two hours under partly sunny skies with temperatures in the low 80s with high humidity.

The Giants were back on the field for their third fully padded practice day in a row. It lasted over two hours. After rain in the late morning, practice ended up being in perfect conditions with sunny skies and temperatures in the low 80s.

The Giants had their longest full-speed practice of camp so far. Weather was around 80 degrees under sunny skies after thunderstorms hit the area last night and are supposed to pass through this afternoon. Fans were in attendance for the last time in West Virginia, with the final closed practice tomorrow in the late morning/early afternoon before the team flies back to New Jersey.

The Giants were back in shells for their 12 th training camp practice on Tuesday in East Rutherford. Temperatures got up around 90 degrees under partly cloudy skies.

The Giants were back in pads for their 13 th training camp practice of the summer. Temperatures were in the upper 80s under sunny skies. The practice had a heavy focus on situational work.

The Giants were back on the practice field in shells in their first work since their opening preseason game against the Vikings on Saturday. Temperatures were in the low 80's with very little humidity under partly cloudy skies.
