A former councilman is running for the mayor of Gillette. Billy Montgomery, who served on the Gillette City Council for nine years, announced Thursday that he was running for mayor.

Commissioner Kelley McCreery, who voted to fund Gillette Reproductive Health last year, said he’d “probably” vote against the funding this year.
