Christmas break it was and the after glow of the season was still within. Thus, the idea of doing a little Christmas Caroling around the neighborhood was thought to be a good idea.

Her hippity-hop to the basket was developing some poor habits early on, and as she was determined to keep up with big sister, it needed correcting. Now, two years later after putting into practice that which was taught, the uncomfortable is beginning to become comfortable.

Trending it is this “round about” topic of recycling. We consume to smithereens and are encouraged to get rid of that which we haven't consumed in a way that is respectful. What does that word mean—smithereens? According to my search engine, “it implies being shattered into many small bits—tiny fragments from smashing.” In other words, that which has not only been broken, but broken to bits!

Walking was out of the question—or was it? As soon as one is told, “No, don't go,” the internal push back begins. And so, it was this frigid day in Winter. Exercise was long past due and giddy-up-and-go beckoned. Although the daylight hours were getting longer, the outdoor temps registered low.

The screen upon my computer boasted of wetlands somewhere in the world. The scene before me was one of green growth amidst waters sporting white dots. As each spot was brought into focus, a flamingo took form. All random like these pics come across my screen, and they do not disappoint.

Used to be, or so it seemed, that life was easier back in the day. Ignorance is bliss –so they say – and I would agree.
