Walking was out of the question—or was it? As soon as one is told, “No, don't go,” the internal push back begins. And so, it was this frigid day in Winter. Exercise was long past due and giddy-up-and-go beckoned. Although the daylight hours were getting longer, the outdoor temps registered low.

The screen upon my computer boasted of wetlands somewhere in the world. The scene before me was one of green growth amidst waters sporting white dots. As each spot was brought into focus, a flamingo took form. All random like these pics come across my screen, and they do not disappoint.

Used to be, or so it seemed, that life was easier back in the day. Ignorance is bliss –so they say – and I would agree.

The Sunday School teacher was about to make a point. The idea came that it might be high time to teach a little lesson about little words to the little children.

I called a friend today. Her voice enveloped me like rays of sunshine piercing the soul. The words she spoke offered wisdom needed. Each one spoken filled parched portions deep within.

You know what they say, “You teach that which you most need to learn.” I must need to learn anew – because I thought this topic worthy of sharing once again.

The recipe within the magazine spoke. If the pic didn't do the job, the words certainly embellished it to taste. The muffin looked like one that grandma would have baked.
