LINCOLN – Using solid pitching, timely hitting, and some smallball, the Lincoln High baseball team defeated Burrillville High, 6-3, for its second win in less than 24 hours last Saturday afternoon at Chet Nichols Field.

WOONSOCKET – After winning the Division III championship last year, the Woonsocket High baseball team has picked up where it left off, and last week, the Villa Novans raised their record to 6-0 by sweeping a home-and-away series with the Paul Cuffee/St. Patrick Academy co-op team by mercy-rule scores of 18-0 and 11-1.

CUMBERLAND – It was cold and dreary last Saturday morning at Tucker Field when the Cumberland High girls' lacrosse team played host to a Division I opponent with only 13 players in uniform.
