The house belonging to members of the UW-Stevens Point fraternity Phi Sigma Phi caught fire on April 5. Members of the fraternity state it was a former member who attempted to set the house on fire.

A New Jersey man has been charged with a federal hate crime after breaking into the Center for Islamic Life at Rutgers University (CILRU) and destroying property. Jacob Beacher, 24, was arrested April 22 and charged with one count of intentional or attempted obstruction of religious practice and one count of making false statements to federal authorities.

UW-Platteville has projected a $390,000 deficit for the Baraboo campus for the 2024-2025 school year. To remedy this, the Sauk County Board approved a funding boost of $390,000 each year in the next two academic years.
