GREEN BAY, Wis.— Mark Murphy Endowed Director of AthleticsJosh Moon has signed a contract extension with the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay that will keep him at the University through 2031, Chancellor Michael Alexander announced on Tuesday, June 16, 2026.

UW-Green Bay is building on a record-breaking era in Phoenix Athletics, extending Mark Murphy Endowed Director of Athletics Josh Moon’s contract through 2031. Announced June 17, 2026, by Chancellor Michael Alexander, the move reflects the University’s forward-thinking commitment to sustained excellence—on the field, in the classroom and across the region. Since arriving in 2021, Moon has elevated every aspect of the program, from championship performances and academic success to community engagement and fundraising growth.

Now more than 850 members strong and offering more than 250 courses, LLI continues to grow as one of Wisconsin’s largest programs of its kind—designed for learners who want to explore, engage and thrive. From arts and science to outdoor exploration, this year’s lineup blends in-person and virtual experiences to meet learners where they are—no tests, no grades, just fun.

Green Bay, Wis. – In a ceremony last week, Universities of Wisconsin Regent Vice President Ashok Rai and Interim President Renée Wachter, along with UW-Green Bay Chancellor Michael Alexander presented Shannon Alberts, ’99, president and owner of Security-Luebke Roofing with the Regents Business Partnership Award. The award was presented to the locally owned roofing business because of its support and collaboration with the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.

Marinette, WI — Bayshore Arts Center, located on the UW-Green Bay Marinette Campus announces Theatre on the Bay’s production of The Music Man – Meredith Willson’s six-time, Tony Award-winning musical comedy. The Music Man is a classic, family-friendly story that has been entertaining audiences since 1957. The Music Man takes the stage July 17-26, 2026, for six public performances.
