Cold sunshine is with us for the start of 2026 with clouds and rain returning Friday to Saturday.

A batch of rain will start to arrive later in the day and stay with us overnight into Saturday morning.

Once the rain exits, we're left with a much cooler Sunday where temperatures struggle to get out of the 40s.

There is a possibility of quarter inch hail or greater going into the evening hours and that's the reason for a First Alert Weather Day.

It's a cold start both days this weekend with fire dangers continuing through next week.

There's only a handful of us who will see rain and storms this afternoon. Overnight into Easter morning all of us get wet.

Tracking sunshine and back to near 80 for the rest of the weekend with limited rain chances next week.

Rain will continue to move through the area bringing another half inch of rain for most.
