With US/Iran peace talks right on “the borderline” according to President Trump, financial markets are also at a crossroads. If a deal can be struck and the Strait of Hormuz is reopened, most financial assets could surge. On the other hand, if a deal falls through and hostilities break out again, the U.S. stock market, and Bitcoin, could be heavily sold down.

Bitcoin is unable to get decent upside traction, while by the same token a sizable dip has been avoided up to now. It seems that the Bitcoin bulls and bears are waiting on the confirmation or failure of a US-Iran peace deal. Expect Bitcoin to rise or fall significantly depending on the deal resolution.
A steady decline of lower highs and lower lows over nearly three weeks has meant that the $BTC price is currently well back inside what is almost a 4-month long bear flag. With Bitcoin looking as though it may continue to subside, could the bears really take control and force this correction into a tailspin?
The $BTC price has fallen through the mid-point of its bear flag and it looks to all intents and purposes that the price is going to head down to the bottom of the flag. Is there anything that can stop this slide from happening?
Apart from a brief rally up to $78K, the $BTC price is continuing to make its way lower. What is certainly a bearish factor weighing on price is the persistent outflow from the Spot Bitcoin ETFs. The Bitcoin price has reached the bottom trendline of its bear flag. With $BTC in a rather oversold condition, this is probably a good time for the bulls’ to come in and force a decent bounce. Failure to do so could mean a setup for a crash to much lower levels.

Tuesday saw a continuation of Bitcoin’s crash out of its 4-month bear flag. The price continued to plummet following Monday’s breakdown out of the bear flag and it was only the important $66K horizontal level that stopped the fall. A relief bounce has already begun, but more pain could be on the way once this has played out.
