A man from Uttar Pradesh is wanted by authorities in Gurugram for making fake birth and death certificates and charging ₹500 per document. The certificates had barcodes that would lead to a fake health department website, making them appear genuine. An FIR has been registered against the suspect.

Gurugram Police has identified 15 hotspots in the city where women feel unsafe and has taken measures to increase security in these areas, including deploying women police officials. The areas were identified based on complaints of harassment, molestation, and stalking. The police are also introducing unique identification stickers for auto-rickshaws to ensure women's safety during late-night commutes. Police patrolling and street lighting in these areas will also be increased.

The Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) has launched a seven-day cleanliness drive to remove garbage from roads and market areas. The campaign includes the launch of three WhatsApp numbers for residents to raise waste-related complaints. The drive comes amid a 52-day strike by the city's sanitation workers, who are demanding improved pay and job security. MCG commissioner PC Meena said residents can lodge complaints on the WhatsApp numbers with pictures, and the teams will address the issues within seven days. The campaign collected over 800 tonnes of garbage on its first day.
