This is the fourth time in five days that strong thunderstorms with gusty winds have popped up in parts of the Garden State.

Despite its dense population and scores of bright street lights and business lights, the Garden State does have some areas where the sky is dark enough for stargazing.

Saturday is shaping up as the best day of the stretch, with ample sunshine, the lowest humidity of the week and highs a few degrees cooler than Friday as high pressure settles directly over the region.

AccuWeather forecasters also are worried that New Jersey’s drought conditions will worsen this fall, after improving in many areas of the state during the past month.

Some patchy fog may develop early Tuesday morning, but once the fog burns off, clear blue skies are expected and humidity levels will get lower.
