The top-seeded Ramblers held off No. 3 Lake City to advance to the Section 1-2A championship game with the help of a KJ Kreidermacher home run and a stellar performance on the mound from Dane Guzzo.

No. 1-seeded Winona Cotter knocked off Lourdes in the Section 1, Class 2A championship game on Tuesday at Mayo Field to capture the program’s first section title and state berth since 2008.
