Gavyn Lorenson recently announced his verbal commitment to play Division II basketball for the University of Minnesota-Duluth. The incoming senior guard averaged 29 points per game as a junior.

Senior safety/receiver Beau Nicklay is one of Byron's latest players to share his plans to play football in college. He verbally committed to Division II University of Minnesota-Duluth on June 30.

Byron left guard Mason Edwards is verbally committed to play Division II football at Northern Michigan University, near his mom's hometown and his grandparents' house, where he vacations annually.
