PHOTO BY JON ROBBINS GLOW-ING PERFORMANCE — The members of Music Makers of Trinity United Methodist Church end their GLOW summer camp with a performance. Campers sang, played games, did crafts and learned about glowing with God’s love. There were 34 campers in attendance for this weeklong camp. There will be a new Music Makers camp starting Monday, Sept. 9, meeting 2:45-4:45 p.m. each Monday. The camp is for second- through fifth-graders. There will be a performance in December at the end of the camp. Contact Conya Hartman at the church.

In the last two services of the summer season at Mosaic Unitarian Universalist, the “Pathway” class will be offered as a two-part series.

St. Jude’s Episcopal Church in Orange City is having a Yard Sale 8 a.m.-noon Friday, Sept. 20, and 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21. There will be many items to choose from, including clothes, shoes, purses, kids’ items, electronics, household goods and books. Proceeds will benefit the church’s ministries and outreach.

St. Jude’s Episcopal Church in Orange City has begun planning for its annual Strawberry Festival Saturday, March 15, 2025, and is calling for arts-and-crafters to get creative so they can display and sell their art. The church is also seeking vendors wanting to sell their wares. The festival will be 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the church.

PHOTO COURTESY TERESA SMITH/ ALL SMILES — Volusia County Women Who Care (VCWWC) members gathered for a heartfelt evening with members of the Visitation House board and residents of the house, as they presented Visitation House Inc. of DeLand with more than $30,700 in member-directed donations. The event featured a check presentation, a tour of the home, and a special baby and mommy shower. The donation will be used to establish a new residence for mothers with older children. Meeting quarterly, the last meeting of the year is 5:30-7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, at the Halifax River Yacht Club, 331 S. Beach St., Daytona Beach.
