Tuesday was pretty windy and no local boats ventured out to ocean structure. Dan at Dan's Tackle said he had no reports from Broadkill Beach because of the wind.

Day 3 at the White Marlin Open started with 277 boats heading to the deep water off the Ocean City coast.

Tuesday was a hot August day. Fish were caught pretty much everywhere, but nowhere were a lot of fish caught.

Day 4 of the White Marlin Open saw 148 boats set out in search of white and blue marlin, tuna, dolphin, wahoo and swordfish.

Thursday was another hot August day. Patty at Captain Bones in Odessa recorded a Delaware Crappie Citation for Lucas Brookings for his 1.01-pounder caught from Lum's Pond on a swimbait.
