Investigators are looking into the circumstances of an officer involved shooting in north St. Louis County Sunday night. It happened as officers were responding to a large pool party involving more than 100 juveniles, and the shooting took place as those at the party were fleeing the scene, some shooting off fireworks as they left the area.

Police in north St. Louis County are still working on the details of an incident over the weekend where two juveniles were shot by an officer who was responding to a large party. All juveniles taken into custody have been released and no charges have been filed as of yet. The two juveniles injured by gunfire are currently listed in stable condition while a third juvenile suffered an abrasion and was treated and released.

Two people are dead, and two injured following a robbery and shooting near the North Hanley Metrolink Station Sunday night. St. Louis County Police say it appears to have started as a robbery, but then when the suspects were confronted by the victims and others, shots were fired by the suspects.

Flash flooding overnight and this morning in parts of southern Missouri where floating and camping are very popular, could impact your weekend plans. More than five inches of rain has fallen in areas south of Interstate 44, impacting places like the Black River and Johnsons' Shut-Ins.

Clean up continues in southeastern Missouri where flash floods devastated parts of Iron, Reynolds and Crawford counties early Friday morning. One person is still unaccounted for after reportedly being swept away by water in Crawford County. The Missouri Highway Patrol says more than 350 people were rescued after nearly a foot of rain fell over the same area late Thursday night and into Friday morning prompting three different warnings from the National Weather Service early Friday.

Two teenagers are in custody in connection with what Illinois State Police are calling a targeted mass shooting in East St. Louis on Sunday. Seven members of the same family were shot at three different locations, five are dead. At least one of the suspects is reportedly related to one of the victims.

A tactical response team is on the scene this morning in Alton on Leonard Street. The Alton Police Department is leading the operation with a staging area about a block from the scene that also involves several area police departments and at least one armored vehicle.
