Springville Youth Incorporated had two house teams compete last week for a chance to advance to the section championship. The U12 team lost its rubber game against Ellicottville to get bumped, while the U10 team posted one victory before losing out.
The Springville-Griffith NYSPHSAA spring senior scholar athletes and teams were announced. The following senior student-athletes received honorable mention accolades for having an academic average of 90% or better for the past seven semesters and must be either a starter or important reserve.
