Panda and Lola (who sound more like they belong in a kid’s TV show than a Walter Presents series) return for a second season of comedic crime capers set on the glorious French coast.

The rise of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been well documented in recent times. Many see it as a threat to our very existence; many see it as a huge opportunity. In truth, it’s probably a bit of both. But one thing for sure, it’s not going away – the genie is very much out of the bottle and it’s only going to become a more significant part of our lives as the years go on. And it is AI that is at the heart of this new Norwegian thriller from our friends at Walter Presents.

The small and elite team of French detectives (‘Les Invisibles' in French, somewhat predictably) are back for a second helping, investigating murders where the victim is unidentified – John or Jane Does, as they’re known on the other side of the pond.

The stunning Rhodope Mountains are the setting for this latest dark thriller from the good people at Walter Presents. The region is located in southern Bulgaria and extends across the border into Greece. It’s a popular area for hiking and camping – and, it would appear, for grim murders and serial killers, although they probably don’t promote that in the local tourist office.

We’re up to Season 4 of the popular Danish crime series, 'The Sommerdahl Murders', and Season 5 will be available on Walter Presents in July.

You only need to take a look at the promotional poster for this French quirky six-part crime series to realise that it’s far from your normal cop show. The poster depicts the main protagonists stood in a snowy wilderness wrapped in yellow police crime scene tape, looking somewhat bemused.

Frank Elling (Sascha Alexander Gersak) and Lona Mendt (Petra Schmidt-Schaller, looking not dissimilar to Rachel McAdams at times) return for a second season of this highly regarded German thriller set in Schwerin, about an hour to the east of Hamburg.

‘Suplex', for the uninitiated (myself, included), is a wresting term for a throw that involves lifting your opponent off the floor and throwing them backwards onto the mat. It’s relevance to this Danish crime drama relates to the fact that series revolves around the murder of a young male wrestler in the small fictional town of Vesterløv.

In episode one, we meet Sussie (played by the brilliant Marie Bach Hansen), a wife and mother who decides to audition for a position in the revue to help fund her husband’s struggling hairdressing business.
