Hot Springs Village resident Zlata Risley, 50, was arrested by Hot Springs Village police on Sept. 30, on one count of violation of voter eligibility after allegedly voting in the 2024 primary election without being a U.S. citizen.
From Sept. 25 to Oct. 2, the Hot Springs Village Police Department received 270 calls, including 149 house or building checks, 43 traffic stops, 12 suspicious circumstances/vehicle calls, and six welfare checks. Several of the total number of calls were routed to LifeNet or the fire department, and 12 reports were released to the Voice. One report concerned a death of natural causes.
From Oct. 23 to Oct. 30, the Hot Springs Village Police Department received 260 calls, including 145 house or building checks, 26 traffic stops, 10 suspicious circumstances/vehicle calls, eight traffic complaints, and six requests for welfare checks.
