It's officially been a decade since Transportation Alternatives and Vision Zero were launched. Transportation Alternatives uses Vision Zero to track the number of fatalities citywide due to traffic-related incidents.

Emerald Dispensary, located on Sudam Street, attracted customers from across the five boroughs to check out the variety of products they have to offer. Some customers got to learn about new items as well from the “bud-istas” working behind the counter and on the floor.

Commuters who spoke with News 12 said they instantly noticed the changes to the Fort Hamilton Parkway subway station. The station is the first subway renovation project to be finished in Brooklyn this year.

Police say that the incident took place around 7:45 a.m. The victim and the alleged slasher, another 13-year-old, got into an argument on an MTA bus and began fighting after getting off of the bus outside of the school.

The full plan to go after residential trash disposal is now in the works, and DSNY says all buildings with one to nine units will also be required to place their trash in sealed containers.
