The change has arrived, and you’ll notice the below average chill the next several days. A couple showers today and tomorrow are possible, otherwise, it’s mainly dry.

Area of low pressure will move south of the area producing steady rain today. The wet weather keeps temperatures raw in the upper 40s to lower 50s.

We are still under the influence of an upper-level trough. Spokes of energy will rotate through keeping clouds stubborn, and stray showers possible.

Gusty winds expected again, and with temperatures are not expected to climb out of the 50s, it will be a cool, fall day. Plus, the coldest air of the season could lead to our first frost for some.

A cold front moved through last night causing temperatures to tumble through the morning. Afternoon readings return to more seasonal norms. Dry weather returns too.

We get a break from the rain on Saturday before the next system moves into the Valley bringing another round of wet weather. The highest rain chance is the first half of the day Sunday.

Early sun is possible and brief before the clouds fill back in. We say goodbye to the 50s for a while, as temperatures are back in the 40s for much of the week.

The most impactful part of the day is late afternoon towards evening when rain intensity picks up and winds increase becoming gusty 25 to 30 mph. Rain is expected to be heavy at times. Overnight, rain changes to snow.

The rain/snow mix has ended leaving wet roads. Increasing winds become the story today, as they gust 30 to 35 mph today. A few flurries are still possible.

High pressure brings pleasant weather to the Valley today. An area of low pressure in the Gulf of Mexico tracks across Florida then up the coast to bring a soaking rain Sunday night.
