Alec Segaert didn't perform as well as he'd hoped in the lone time trial at the Giro d’Italia 2026, but he used those same skills to secure a win two days later in Stage 12. Stage 2 winner Thomas Silva was third, Ethan Vernon was fourth and Jasper Stuyven finished fifth. In the General Classification, Eulálio picked up six bonus seconds in the mid-race sprint, and he now leads GC favorite Jonas Vingegaard by 33 seconds.
