ALBANY, Ga. – On January 4, 2026, a male was brought into Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital's Emergency Center with head injuries. He then succumbed to his injuries a short time later. He was identified as Ricky Bernard Williams (24) of Sylvester, Ga. Preliminary investigations revealed that the injuries were received as a result of a gang initiation that took place in the 500 Block of Pinson Road in Albany, Ga.
