In the MIAA, state champions don’t seem to go away. Last fall, Duxbury and Medfield captured long-awaited titles, adding to an expanding group of schools that have broken through in recent years. And the thing about MIAA girls’ soccer is that successful programs tend to stick around. That should be the case again in 2026. A slew of recent champions, like Duxbury and Medfield from 2025, or Wellesley and Masconomet from 2024, return impact players and should be right in the thick of things again. But they are not alone. The talent level in the MIAA is approaching an all-time high, so much so that seven teams in our way-too-early Top 10 have at least one Division 1 commit (some have multiple).
