SPRINGVILLE – Driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of drugs and distracted driving can all be a danger for student drivers on a daily basis and especially during prom season. Students at Springville-Griffith Institute were able to see the dangers of impaired driving with a mock car accident during the annual Prom Promise.

SPRINGVILLE – Springville Center for the Arts recently hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, Aug. 6 to celebrate the completion of its renovation project to the Carol Mongerson Theater. The Carol Mongerson Theater renovations are just one of the ongoing projects at SCA in its over 19-year effort to modernize the 1869 former church facility, while preserving the architectural character.
