The following is a report from the North Attleborough Fire Logs from April 20 to April 27 on the types of calls responded to and number of incidents.

Carbon is a big, beautiful boy who has been at the shelter for almost five years. He is an estimated 6-year-old, medium-haired cat who gets along great with other cats, but is standoffish with people. If you're seeking a companion for your current cat, then Carbon would be the perfect choice. He made lots of friends in the shelter's free-roaming cat room.

A seven-alarm fire tore through the Juniper Road condominium complex Monday afternoon, displacing roughly 150 residents and prompting officials to open an emergency shelter and reunification center at North Attleborough Middle School.

Thursday, April 30 8:45 a.m. A suspicious motor vehicle was reported on Mendon Road. Police spoke to the involved party.

Town Manager Michael Borg and Director of Veterans Services Scott Smith invite residents to join town officials in honoring those who lost their lives while serving their country at North Attleborough's 2026 Memorial Day ceremony on Saturday, May 23, beginning at 10 a.m. at Barrows Veterans Memorial Park, 76 South Washington St.

Veterans Memorial Park could undergo its most significant transformation in decades under a proposed $264,000 revitalization plan that would add permanent restrooms, relocate the gazebo and potentially create a new home for several of the town's military memorials.

This year's ceremony places students at the heart of the celebration, with senior Bhavishnu Mood serving as Master of Ceremonies. The program features Class President Ryan Backner delivering the welcome address, complemented by speeches from Salutatorian Madhu Nagunoori and Valedictorian Angelina Bostock.
