The GRP arrested dismissed railway personnel Lalit Jagtap, Rahul Bhosale and Anil Rathod on June 3 after the Supreme Court cancelled their anticipatory bail. They allegedly robbed Rajasthan jewellery merchant Kamalkumar Soni of a 14-gram gold bar and ₹31,900 at Mumbai Central railway station on August 10, 2025. A court sent them to five days' police custody.

Nearly a month after a tree from a construction site in Khar West fell on an auto-rickshaw, killing 14-year-old Aarika Shrivastav, police are yet to act against the accused. While the investigation continues, survivor Harshita Kumar is recovering steadily. Police have invoked culpable homicide charges against Bluestone Constructions and a supervising agency.

Malad Police have registered an FIR against office-bearers of Sunita Apartment Co-operative Housing Society, Kamala Homes and Lifestyle Pvt. Ltd., and an unidentified person following allegations of cheating and forgery in a redevelopment project. Complainant Madhavi Bindu Thackery alleged fabricated records and forged signatures were used to undermine her redevelopment rights.

One year after the Mumbra train accident killed five passengers and injured 13 others, no chargesheet has been filed and victims say they have not received promised compensation. A 35-year-old airport bouncer, Ganesh Pawar, is critical in ICU after being allegedly hit and dragged by an app-based cab at CSMIA, Vile Parle, on June 7 around 7am. Driver Vinod Singh allegedly violated pickup rules at Gate 7, tried to flee, and ran over Pawar when security intervened, also injuring another guard. He was arrested; cab seized; case filed under BNS and MV Act.

Bomb threat email claiming explosives at Mumbai airport triggered a high-security alert on Saturday. Bomb squads and police conducted a search after a BTAC meeting, but no suspicious items were found. Authorities later declared the threat a hoax and registered an NC case against an unknown sender.
