Freeride skiing and snowboarding will make their Olympic debut at the 2030 Winter Games in the French Alps, the International Olympic Committee announced. This addition includes four medal events—men's and women's ski and snowboard. The decision marks a significant evolution for the sport, which has grown to over 320 global events and 10,000 riders, boosting opportunities for athletes and the industry.
