X Games is launching "Spotlight Events" to expand its competition lineup and test new action sports disciplines. Two new events, Scooter Park Best Trick and Men's Skateboard Park Best Trick, will debut at the X Games League Championship in New Orleans on July 24–26. This initiative aims to give emerging disciplines a platform, with fan and athlete interest determining if they become permanent X Games fixtures or join the X Games League.
