County Animal Services is caring for seven severely malnourished dogs rescued Tuesday morning from a Bonsall property. The animals were impounded under exigent circumstances, allowing Animal Services to act immediately due to urgent concerns for the dogs' health and safety. To ensure they received urgent medical care, all seven dogs were transported to the County's Bonita Animal Shelter, where they are receiving veterinary treatment.
