The same storm system that brought our severe weather on Monday is still hanging out in the region as a stationary front, that is now lifting back north as a warm front. Along that front, there is a chance for some more thunderstorms. That best chance is to our south. We could still see a few isolated showers develop this afternoon with highs reaching the upper 60s to near 70. It’ll be warmer for Thursday with sunshine and highs in the upper 70s. As we move into Friday, another system will come through that brings a better chance for showers and thunderstorms, some of which again could be strong to severe. As colder air wraps into the system, some snowflakes are possible on early Saturday morning. Highs on Saturday will only be in the lower 40s.
