ISHPEMING, Mich. (WLUC) - Feeding America West Michigan has a food distribution event scheduled for Marquette County on Thursday morning.

The Marquette City Fire Department was dispatched to 420 North Front Street late Sunday evening.

DEARBORN, Mich. (WLUC) - Monday marks the end of the Fourth of July travel period, and some parts of the Upper Peninsula are seeing a lower price at the gas pump as the state average is down 10 cents from a week ago.

The pantry is a drive-thru event, attendees are asked to stay in their vehicles.

Distribution is at Silver Creek Thrift Store from 10 to 11:30 a.m. while supplies last.

MENOMINEE, Mich. (WLUC) - Feeding America West Michigan is set to distribute food to residents needing assistance in Menominee Thursday morning.

Distribution is at Building 604 in KI Sawyer at noon Eastern time.

MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) - Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish a fire near downtown Maquette Wednesday night.
