FAIRVIEW, Ala. — The Cullman County Commission on Education at its May 20, 2024 meeting approved Superintendent Dr. Shane Barnette’s recommendation to hire Dr. Brad Stapler as the next principal of Fairview High School. Stapler replaces Dr. Johnny Whaley, who is leaving Cullman County Schools after more than 20 years of service to pursue a new opportunity with the Alabama State Department of Education.
The annual Kids Fish O’ Rama tournament will kick off at 8 a.m. at Veterans Park in Hanceville. Registration begins at 7:30. Final judging will commence at 11:30. There is no cost to register. (Gauge Day)
