More than $1.28 billion worth of crypto token unlocks are scheduled over the next month, according to Tokenomist. Major one-time unlocks include HYPE, YZY, PROVE, KAITO, H, ENA, ZRO, CONX, and AVAX, while significant linear unlocks are expected for RAIN, SOL, CC, TRUMP, DOGE, WLD, ASTER, ZEC, MORPHO, TAO, AVAX, and PUMP. Investors are closely monitoring the unlock schedule as increased token supply can create additional selling pressure and higher market volatility.

Binance will delist Across Protocol (ACX), Hashflow (HFT), PIVX, Vulcan Forged PYR (PYR), Vanar (VANRY), and Viction (VIC) at 03:00 UTC on August 17, 2026, ending spot trading as well as related futures, margin, earn products, and conversion services. South Africa has proposed new reporting rules that would, for the first time, classify certain cryptocurrency transfers as cross-border transactions. Under the draft framework released by the National Treasury and South African Reserve Bank, transfers from local crypto service providers to offshore exchanges or non-custodial wallets would require authorised processing and reporting. Individual users would continue to operate under existing foreign exchange allowance rules, with public comments on the proposal open until September 30.
