The Lewis County Sheriff’s Office, the Washington State Patrol and Lewis County Fire District 15 responded to the two-vehicle collision shortly after 6 p.m. Monday. According to the sheriff’s office, a Honda CR-V SUV was heading northbound on Jackson Highway approaching Tucker Road while a Honda sedan was stopped at the stop sign on Tucker Road. A witness reported that the sedan turned left onto Jackson Highway toward Toledo, causing the CR-V to T-bone the driver’s door of the sedan. The driver of the sedan was reportedly transported via helicopter to a nearby hospital following the collision.
