The Pittsburgh Steelers play the Minnesota Vikings Sunday in Dublin Ireland. You can hear the game beginning with the pregame at 8:30am on WISR, kickoff is at 9:30am. Because of the early start WISR will be airing Church of God at Connoquenessing at 7:30am and First Baptist Church immediately after the game.

The Pittsburgh Pirates beat the Atlanta Braves 9-3 Friday night. The two teams play in Atlanta tonight, the game can be heard on WISR starting with pregame at 6:50pm. Their season will end Sunday, with WISR airtime at 2:50pm.

The Pittsburgh Penguins lost the first of two games in Sweden to the Nashville Predators yesterday 2-1 in overtime. Evgeni Malkin scored the goal for the Pens. The two teams play again Sunday morning at 9AM.

One man was taken to the hospital after a motorcycle crash last evening in Sarver. The accident happened around 5:30pm near the intersection of Route 356 and Sarver Road. Dispatchers say a motorcycle collided with a deer. The motorcyclist was taken to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries. A portion of Route 356 was shut down for a time following the accident.

The man who died in an accident at a farm in Clinton Township earlier this week has been identified.

A number of fire departments are on the scene of a structure fire at a residence on Home Avenue in Butler Township. According to dispatchers the fire is at the rear of the home. The call came in around 1:40pm this afternoon.

Pa American Water crews were called to a water main break on Fifth Avenue in the City of Butler for the second day in a row. At approximately 7:30am this morning crews were called to a second water main break on Fifth Avenue near New Castle Street. The road was closed while repairs were being made. The first break was Friday afternoon near the same location.

Brian M Bailey, age 67, of Portersville, passed away Sunday morning April 19, 2026, at his residence of natural causes. Born August 26, 1958, in Wilkinsburg, Allegheny County; he was the son of the late Quintard and Barbara Galbreath Bailey. Brian has served his community for over 10 years as the Mayor of Portersville Borough. […]
