After crashing his motorcycle into the back of a car at a high rate of speed in the 100 block of Maynard Street about 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 9, impaired South Williamsport resident Travis Eugene Allen just kept on going even though his right foot was nearly severed by the collision, according to a city police affidavit. Allen, 34, fled to his home at 1709 Riverside Drive to where borough police and an ambulance were soon dispatched for “a medical emergency,” the affidavit stated.

It was four days before Christmas and fugitive Cameron Belle, 63, was determined not to spend the holidays in jail, so when sheriff deputies arrived at his home at 951 Second St. on Dec. 21, he bolted out a second-floor window and attempted to conceal himself by lying on his back on the roof, according to an affidavit filed at Frey’s office. There was a bench warrant for his arrest stemming from a drug charge. Deputies and county detectives had to forcibly remove Belle from the roof, the affidavit stated. He was placed in the county prison on the warrant, but later released. However, Belle is now back in prison on yet another bench warrant that was filed after he failed to appear for his preliminary hearing on a misdemeanor charge of flight to avoid apprehension, filed by a county detective and stemming from the incident on Dec. 21. Regarding bench warrants, defendants automatically go to jail. Bail is not an issue.

During a vehicle stop on Route 15 in South Williamsport about 4:50 p.m. Friday, Alrashawn Jones, 25, “a guest” at 649 Walnut St., formerly of the 1500 block of Northway Road, was taken into custody on a warrant filed by Northwest Regional police in Elizabethtown, Lancaster County, according to county records. The warrant was for possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, police said. Following his arraignment before District Judge Christian Frey on a charge of fugitive from justice, Jones was committed to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $95,000 bail.

While employed as the event coordinator at the Pajama Factory at 1307 Park Ave., Inica Nichole Spicer, 40, Mill Hall, stole an estimated $3,672 from the business between February 2021 and the end of 2022, city police alleged in court papers filed at the office of District Judge Christian Frey. Facing felony charges of forgery, access device fraud and theft, Spicer has waived her preliminary hearing and is free on $15,000 bail.

Khaki Tindall, 32, of 410 ½ Louisa St., has been charged with delivery of a controlled substance for his alleged involvement in the sale of three grams of crack cocaine to an informant in the 300 block of Memorial Avenue in the city on March 28, according to the county’s Narcotics Enforcement Unit (NEU). Following his arraignment before District Judge Aaron Biichle, Tindall was released on $15,000 bail. He has since waived his preliminary hearing.

Emery J. Balint, 21, of Williamsport, remained in the intensive care unit at UPMC Williamsport with serious injuries he suffered when he crashed his 2023 Kawasaki on Jacks Hollow Road in Armstrong Township about 11:20 p.m. on April 26, according to state police. Balint was traveling east when he went off the two-lane road and struck a ditch, police said. He traveled another 50 feet in the creek bed before stopping, police said.

A 1-year-old child is recovering from facial injuries she suffered when she was struck by a cellphone that her father, Andrew Scott Huntington, allegedly threw during a domestic disturbance with the girl’s mother at the family’s home at 376 McGill Hollow Road in Woodward Township about 9:10 p.m. Thursday, according to state police. Huntington, 35, has been charged with aggravated and simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, endangering the welfare of a child and harassment. The toddler was taken initially to UPMC Williamsport, but then rushed to Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, after she went unconscious twice at UPMC, court records state. Following his arraignment before District Judge William Solomon, Huntington was committed to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $50,000 bail. “He is a danger to children,” a trooper told the judge during the proceeding.

Ronald Morton, 41, of 410 ½ Louisa St., has been jailed on three felony counts each of delivery of a controlled substance and illegal use of cellphone for selling crack cocaine to an informant on three occasions at West Fourth and Grier streets in the city in January, it was alleged in an affidavit filed by the county’s Narcotics Enforcement Unit. Following his arraignment Friday before Solomon, Morton was locked up in lieu of $50,000 bail.

PENNSDALE — An elderly man was killed Saturday afternoon when his Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck crashed into a tree on Route 220, about two miles north of Interstate 180, in Muncy Township, state police said.
