The owner of North Shore Gymnastics says Orry Mejia was fired in 2024 for abuse allegations that later led to his arrest. He was hired at another gym not long after.

Friday, Cypress Pointe Gymnastics posted on its Facebook page that it “immediately terminated” Orry Mejia “as soon as we learned of his investigation and arrest.”
