Britain’s largest racing group, Arena Racing Company has announced a new partnership with Seat Unique to become its official online premium ticket and hospitality partner.

Co-op Live has officially opened its doors, with Tim Leiweke, chairman and CEO of Oak View Group (OVG), stating that its price tag now stands at close to £450m (€523.4m/$566.9m) after the Manchester venue narrowly avoided a “catastrophic” incident earlier this month.

The official Paris 2024 ticketing app has launched, with users now able to resell and manage their tickets.

Live Nation said there has been an 8% in increase in completed sales since the programme was rolled out across its venues and festivals in the US last year. The group said the all-in pricing initiative has proven beneficial for both fans and artists at nearly 9,000 shows so far. It said this was due to greater transparency for fans, increasing sales for artists and fewer abandoned carts at checkout.

Representatives passed the bipartisan bill on Wednesday by a vote of 388-24, with the legislation now moving to the Senate. The House vote follows the unanimous vote for the TICKET Act in the full Energy & Commerce Committee in December 2023.

Meta, the group which owns both Facebook and Instagram, has admitted that a technical issue was the cause of thousands of Humanitix events, posts, comments, advertising content and other activities being taken down. The outage was identified on Thursday morning, with Humanitix and Meta working to resolve matters in the hours since.
