Penn State Behrend track-and-field athlete Charlie Motter won the javelin event at the recently held All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Conference championships in Collegeville, Pennsylvania. Motter, a sophomore from Oil City, won the event with his final throw — a personal-best distance of 61.26 meters.

Three members of the Penn State Behrend men’s track-and-field team competed in the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
