MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Scattered rain and thunderstorms fell over parts of the Mid-South today and there's more to come tomorrow.

It was a warm day across the Mid-South but still a bit humid along with a few downpours in the area. Drier air is streaming in tonight which will give us a bit of a break from the muggy conditions and near average temperatures.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Rain and thunderstorms moved through much of the Mid-South leaving behind half an inch or more for many areas including Memphis.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - The month of August has kicked off on a nice, cool note and there's a little more to come before the heat and humidity make a comeback later this week.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Temperatures across the Mid-South are inching up and the return of a southerly flow it driving humidity up as well making for what's shaping up to be a hot and humid end to the week.
