Nissan has announced plans to launch the N7 electric mid-size saloon as the 'Primera EV' in the Philippines. The country is set to become the first overseas market for the China-made EV.

Huy Long, a Vietnamese company, has signed an agreement to purchase 2,000 electric cars from homegrown automaker VinFast (VN). The company plans to deploy them in phases.
