Ambala: 11 major highway projects in Haryana of value worth Rs 14,833 crore are near completion by 2027. Information reveals, construction work is going on 20 major highway and road-related projects going on in the state will ease travel between Delhi-NCR, Punjab, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh, reducing traffic congestion in cities, speed up freight movement and boost industrial and economic activity. The national highway network in Haryana is about to change rapidly, since twenty major highway and road-related projects are under construction in the state, including the Karnal and Ambala Ring Roads, the Shamli-Ambala Highway, the Jewar International Airport Connectivity, and the Gurugram-Pataudi-Rewari four-lane. The credit goes to the Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari,who provided this information in response to a question from BJP Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Bhatia.
